Men Nguyen has survived the Communist regime in Vietnam in fleeing on a boat in 1978, and taking direction to Malaysia with 87 of his compatriots. The same year, he receives political asylum of the United States and in 1986 a US citizen becomes full.
The Master discovers the poker in 1984 when in Las Vegas where he loses hundreds of dollars, he got a little glorious nickname with "Money Machine". But in 1987 things begin to reverse with his first victory in tournament.
With his first earnings, it opens a laundry and a grocery store. It makes them a few years after 1990, but this event may appear anecdotal career allowed him to meet many Vietnamese migrants like him who become his students in large numbers.
